During his recent visit to Abu Dhabi on 26 November 2020, Hon. S. Jayshankar, Minister of External Affairs, India, met with a delegation from the BAPS Hindu Mandir including Pujya Brahmavihari Swami, Aksharatit Swami, Rohitbhai Patel and Ashokbhai Kotecha. Brahmavihari Swamiji shared an update of the BAPS Hindu Mandir’s construction and progress in India and in the UAE. The Honourable Minister was pleased to hear of the steadfast efforts of the organisation to continue the project through these challenging times. Brahmavihari Swami thanked the Minister personally for his time and shared the community’s heartfelt gratitude to HRH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan for his support of this historic project. The BAPS Hindu Mandir is becoming acclaimed as a civilizational beacon of harmony which has been made possible by the leadership, vision and sincere support of both Hon. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and HRH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
